Advertising

On TrucksNL, you can advertise vehicles, machines and parts. 

The cost of a subscription depends on the number of ads you want to place each month. These can be found on the ‘advertise’ page. Do you want to sell parts? Then we apply a lower price scale. Contact an account manager for the possibilities.

A subscription is entered into for the duration of one year. Payment is made monthly (unless otherwise agreed). Payment can be made by direct debit (around the tenth day of the month) or by invoice.

A subscription to TrucksNL lasts a minimum of one year and can be renewed annually.

It is possible to increase or decrease a subscription in the interim. After a reduction, a new subscription is entered into for the duration of one year.

A subscription is suitable if you want to sell a vehicle, machine or part through TrucksNL on a regular basis.

Buyers on TrucksNL come from all over the world, from more than 180 countries. From countries in Africa and Europe to countries in the Middle East and America. Most buyers come from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Nigeria, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the UK.

Through your account, you specify the ways in which customers can contact you. This can be via e-mail, phone or WhatsApp. When they respond to an ad, you can contact them.

No, with a single ad, you only pay for placing one ad. After that, you are not tied to anything. However, you can choose to take out a subscription if you advertise regularly.

You place a single ad in five steps via our website.

  1. Click on: place ad
  2. Select the product group and (sub)category
  3. Fill in your details
  4. Fill in specifications and upload photos
  5. Activate your ad

Fill in as many specifications as possible to make your ad easier to find on our platform. The more information you provide, the faster potential buyers will take action.

You can take out a subscription via our account manager. This can be found at the bottom of our homepage. It is also possible to fill in a contact form here. You will then be called as soon as possible.

If you cannot find a suitable (sub)category for your ad, we recommend contacting our customer service desk. We will check whether there is anything we can do for you.

Do you manage your ads via TruckDelta (our ad management system)? Then you can transfer your ads to other portals with an additional licence. Below you can see how many websites you can forward your ads to per licence type.

  • TruckDelta Single: 1
  • TruckDelta Lite: 3
  • TruckDelta Full: 250+

When this option is listed in an advertisement, it is possible to lease this vehicle. By leasing a vehicle, you create more financial space within your business. You keep more money for other investments and have various tax advantages.

When you have a company website created by TrucksNL, we provide a link which allows advertisements to be automatically placed on your own website. Do you already have a website and would just like a link to display your products on your own website? Contact us for the possibilities.

Within 1 working day, your subscription will be active and you will be able to advertise on TrucksNL.

Promote

Promoting an ad can be done in several ways:

  • Place an ad back at the top of the results page
  • Give your ad a top position on a results page
  • Use an ad booster

Log in to your TruckDelta account and go to ‘Promotions’ via the menu. Find the ad you want to move up and click ‘Upcall’.

An ad booster is tailor-made. Contact your account manager to set up a suitable ad booster.

Ad management

Via TruckDelta you manage various sales ads in one place. From this system, you create ads, manage your entire offer and can view various statistics.

A basic account is always free. Would you like to make use of additional options, such as placing ads on other sales portals? Then you need an additional licence. The costs can be found on the page ‘Ad management’.

If you advertise through another VMS and want to use TruckDelta, we can provide you with our login details. You can then connect to TruckDelta after which the ads will automatically appear in TruckDelta.

If you advertise through another VMS, we will have transferred your ads within two working days.

Do you have your own website with your stock on it? Then we can also transfer this data to TruckDelta within two working days.

If you have not yet entered your stock anywhere, you will have to enter everything once. We help you with this by filling in as much information as possible (via a licence plate check).

Are you getting an error message? Then read the description we provide. Is it not there? Then contact the company behind the external sales website. They can check why the error occurs.

If your ad is not visible on the another sales website, there are two reasons:

  1. The sales website is not selected in TruckDelta, and therefore not activated for advertising externally.
  2. An error has occurred preventing it from being posted. We often receive an error message back from the relevant sales website. Is the message not clearly defined? If so, please contact the external sales website.

Open an ad via ‘current stock’. Adjust your advertisement and click on ‘save’. Changes are immediately implemented on all portals (TrucksNL and external sales websites) where the advertisement is visible.

Are you basically advertising from another VMS? Then please note that changes via TruckDelta will not be implemented in ads on other portals. This only works if you use TruckDelta as your basic ad management system.

Banners

Banners are visual (dynamic) images of your organisation displaying your company logo and/or slogan.

By placing banners on TrucksNL, you enjoy the following benefits:

  • You increase brand awareness within your target group
  • You increase the reliability and professionalism of your company
  • You get new visitors to your own website
  • You pay for guaranteed impressions (and therefore never too much)

Depending on where you want to display banners, we have a variety of datasets to compile your target audience.

We have 2.5 million profiles whose preferences and interests we know. Examples to arrive at your target group selection are:

  • Someone must have already seen your advertisement(s) on TrucksNL
  • Someone must be interested in a certain productgroup/category/subcategory (For example: a product group can be ‘Transport’, a category ‘Trucks’ and a subcategory ‘Kipper trucks’)
  • Someone must live in a particular country/determined province/city
  • Someone must speak a certain language
  • Someone must have sent a contact form to a seller within a certain category on TrucksNL

It depends on the campaign you choose and the budget you make available. Costs depend on:

  • Start-up costs to set up and set up the campaign
  • Monthly costs for optimising the campaign
  • Price per x number of impressions (until budget is used up)

Do you want us to take care of the banner set? Then there is a separate charge for this.

To achieve the best results, it is important to run a retargeting campaign for at least 6 months. Depending on the results, we can keep improving/optimising the campaign along the way.

Your banner will be visible until the agreed number of impressions is reached. Please note that your banner may be rotated with other banners (and therefore may not be visible every moment).

Yes, we can provide you with a high-quality banner set tailored to your corporate identity. The set consists of three different sizes. After delivery, the banners are entirely your property (and may therefore be used for your own/other purposes).

We use 3 banner formats on TrucksNL:
  • 300 x 250 px
  • 300 x 600 px
  • 970 x 250 px

This depends on the type of campaign you choose. Banners on TrucksNL can be shown on the homepage, results page, advertising page and in e-mail alerts.

For banners on external websites, we look for the best target group match. From there, banners are displayed on the best matching websites (out of more than 3 million websites).

A campaign manager sets up the retargeting campaign and continuously monitors everything. Here you can think of:
  • Adjusting bids in the Google auction
  • Excluding websites that are not performing well
  • Offering more budget to websites that perform well
  • Returning your banner at the best times
  • More budget on the best performing devices

When your daily budget runs out, your banner will no longer be displayed. So you never make more costs than your maximum daily budget. However, you can increase your daily budget. Your banner can then be displayed more often and get even more clicks, so you get more requests and increase your sales chances.

With a campaign, you will receive a quarterly update with the results of your campaign. Would you like to see your campaign results any time of the day? Then pay a small extra amount and get an online dashboard from us. Here you can always follow your campaign results live.

Company website

If you choose a company website made by TrucksNL, you will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Suitable for any device (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Accessible in multiple languages
  • No need to worry about maintenance, updates and security
  • Direct integration of your sales ads (from the TruckDelta)

If you have a company website created by us, we automatically provide an ad link. Ads are relayed from TruckDelta to your company website in real time.

Basically, you can choose from a few designs where most of the elements are fixed. The theme is tailored to your logo and corporate identity. In addition, we place your texts on the various pages.

Specific wishes can always be discussed with an account manager. The possibilities will then be examined internally.

After delivery of the company website, you have two weeks to provide feedback. After this period, the company website is delivered as a final product and changes are subject to additional work.

Once the agreement is reached, we will start work on the project as soon as possible and the corporate website will be delivered within a maximum of three months.

Changes can be made by sending an e-mail to support@trucks.nl. Changes will be made within 3 working days.
